Privacy Policy

• Your login details. You sign in with Discord or Google. We get your email address, your display name or username, your profile picture and your Discord or Google account ID. From Discord we only ask for your basic profile and email. We never see your password, your messages or your list of servers.
• Your membership. Whether you're a paying member, how you joined (Stripe, LaunchPass, a trial code or added by hand), and when it started, ends or was cancelled.
• Billing records. Payments go through Stripe. We keep your Stripe customer ID so we can link your payments to your account. Your card number goes straight to Stripe; we never see or store it.
• Referrals. Your referral code, who referred you or who you referred, and when a referral became a paid membership. If you arrive from a link with a ?ref= tag, your browser remembers that tag and passes it along when you check out, so we know which link brought you in.
• Trial codes. Which code you redeemed and when.
• Waitlists. If you join a waitlist, your email address, what you said you're interested in and which page you signed up from.
• Discord bot use. Your Discord user ID, which bot commands you use and when, players you add to a watchlist, and whether we've shown you a referral reminder.
• Basic request logs. Like most websites, our servers and hosting providers record each request: the page or endpoint, the time, your IP address, your browser type and whether it worked. We use this to fix problems, stop abuse and see which features get used.

• Login cookies. These keep you signed in. The site doesn't work for members without them.
• Browser storage. Small settings saved on your own device: whether the sidebar is collapsed, your theme, and the referral tag described above.
• Page-view counts. We may use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views and device types without cookies and without building a profile of you.
• No advertising trackers. No ad cookies, no social-media pixels, no Google Analytics.

• Signing you in and checking whether you're a member.
• Giving your Discord account the member role in our server when you join, and removing it when your membership ends. The bot does this using your Discord user ID.
• Billing, referral credits and trial codes.
• Answering your support questions.
• Keeping the service secure and working, and learning which features people use.

Only the companies that run parts of the service for us, and only what each one needs:

• Supabase: login and our database.
• Stripe: payments and the billing portal.
• Discord: login, our server and the member role.
• Google: login, if you choose Google.
• Vercel and Railway: hosting for the website, API and bot.
• LaunchPass: only if you joined through LaunchPass.

We don't sell or rent your information. We may share it if the law requires it. If FilmRoomPicks is sold or transferred to a new owner, your information goes with it, and the new owner has to keep following this policy or tell you about changes first.

We keep your account details while you have an account. Request logs are kept only as long as they're useful for fixing problems. Stripe keeps payment records for as long as tax and financial laws require, even after you leave.

• Ask to see the information we hold about you, or to correct it.
• Ask us to delete your account. This removes your profile, membership, referral and trial-code records. Cancel your subscription first so you aren't billed again.
• Leave a waitlist at any time by asking us.
• Cancel your membership any time from your Account page (Manage billing).

Depending on where you live, you may have extra rights under local privacy laws. Contact us and we'll help.

FilmRoomPicks is for adults: 21 or older, or the legal age for sports betting where you live if that's higher. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you think a minor has signed up, tell us and we'll delete the account.

We use the security tools our providers offer, limit who can reach the database and never store card numbers. No system is perfectly safe, so we can't promise nothing will ever go wrong. If a problem affects your information, we'll tell you.

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. For big changes we'll also post a notice on the site or in Discord.

Message us in the FilmRoomPicks Discord server.
